Shaolin Kung Fu Masters
MASTER SHI XING LIN (MASTER ZHANG)
Our headmaster, Master Shi Xing Lin (Master Zhang), 44 years old, is a 32nd generation Shaolin Warrior Monk. He is also certified by the Chinese Wushu Association (national governing body) as a Master, with a level ranking of level 8 out of 9. This also earns him the title of advanced traditional Wushu Coach. His background in Shaolin Kungfu and Wushu began when he went to the Songshan Shaolin Temple (the original Shaolin Temple)in the year 1993 and stayed there for 15 years. During this time, he changed his role from a student to an experienced kungfu master while also being selected for the coveted Warrior Monk travel team, which represents Shaolin and the Shaolin Temple around the world.
He specializes on the 72 Shaolin Secret Skills: hard Qigong “iron head” and “silver throat”, as well as Soft Qigong. He has excellent wisdom and knowlege of traditional Shaolin fist forms, Shaolin staff, swords, eagle fist, tiger fist, mantis fist, drunken fist, Wing Chun, Qin Na, Tai Chi fist and weapon, and Baji Quan. His many years of experience in both training and teaching allows him to effectively communicate the teachings to students as well as provide them with insights into practical applications.
- In September, 1998, he went to Korea for performance at the representative of the Shaolin Temple.
- In October, 2000, he attended the First National Shaolin Forms Competition and got first place in four events-Shaolin fist, straight sword, staff and pair sparring.
- In July, 2001, he attended training course of masters by Henan province, and obtained master’s qualification certificate.
- In April, 2003, he was invited to Korea again for visit and performance for 2 months long.
- In July, 2004, he was invited to attend the "Gold Lion Competition" in Malaysia and won Gold Lion Award.
- In May, 2005, he was invited by president of Russia Pu Jing for performance at the representative of the Shaolin Temple.
- From 2003 to 2006, he was rewarded "excellent master" annually.
- In June, 2006, he led his disciples to attend Henan province's "Teenagers' Championship" and won 13 first prizes, 27 second prizes and 11 third prizes.
- From 2008 to 2009, he was sent to Guangdong and Fujian provinces by the Shaolin Temple to communicate and pursue advanced studies of Wing Chun.
- In 2023, he was awarded "Advanced Coach" in Chinese Traditional Wushu.
- He has been abroad many times for performances and teaching, such as the USA, Canada, Germany, Indonesia, and Australia.
(MASTER SHI XING CONG) MASTER LIU
Master Shi Xing Cong, 38 years old, a 32nd generation Shaolin warrior monk, first class master. He went to the Songshan Shaolin Temple in the year 1996 and became disciple of Master Shi De Qian. He specializes in Soft Weapons: double chain whips, rope hammer, three-section staff, nun-chucks, etc. He is particularly skilled in 72 secret techniques: Tongzigong.
Master Liu has been a lead performer for 10 years in the “Kung Fu Legend” Troupe, which is a world famous Chinese stage show featuring authentic martial arts. He has been to many countries for performance and cultural exchange event, such as Germany, France, Italy, USA, Singapore, Malaysia, and Russia. He currently holds the post of Vice Chairman of Xindu District Wushu Association in Chengdu City.
